| requirements: | Exceptional musicianship and conducting skills; graduate degree in music preferred; ability to inspire and communicate musically and verbally with audiences of all ages; proven record of success in audience relations, orchestral development, innovative programming; strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Extensive conducting experience required, especially with volunteer musicians. Must be willing to assist with publicity and outreach. |

| organization description: | The Niwot Timberline Symphony, now in its 16th season, is an adult community orchestra, comprised of 60 volunteer musicians, serves the communities of Niwot, Longmont, and Boulder, Colorado, as well as outlying areas. The performance season, running September through May, offers classical, pops, chamber, ballet, and family series concerts. NTS is governed by a dedicated and active volunteer Board of Directors. |
